Here is a look at the characters from left to right: The other eight characters all were created from the same base model but with variations in outfits and hair. The base character I used for my voxel model characters is on the far left with the white tank top and the jeans. I then used my own imagination to create a set of characters. Creating these characters involved me studying various other blocky characters and making my own model to serve as the basis of my voxel character models.

Before I developed the characters further, I felt the need to offer my first set of voxel characters for free before I went ahead and modified my original creations- namely the heads of the characters. I then created characters from a single character base. Or at least, I used Minecraft as my basis for the dimensions of my characters.

The original intent was to make them Minecraft entities. Each model is in a decent size matrix of 16 units long, 16 units wide, and 32 units high. Oh and with keys A and D you can set the angle, however, it is pretty hard to set to exactly 45 or 30 or 15 or whatever you want as it rotates way too quickly and you have to hit quickly back and force until you get lucky to get exactly the angle you want.Need voxel characters for your games or other projects? If you want an Iso game then you might need that isometric settings (Iso) instead of perspective as on this screenshot (Pers). Also make sure the ground and background is off (GD and BG) and everything else but the shadows (SW). Click on it, when it becomes bold then there is alpha channel (and believe or not on that screenshot that A icon is bold, very hard to distinguish between on and off.

See that letter A next to the camera icon? That is the Alpha channel. It is actually pretty easy, although I agree the user interface is not that intuitive.

Instead turn on the ruler and on that you can use double finger move on a Mac to set angle at a 5 degree precision (not sure on Windows or with a mouse, maybe with two buttons or middle button?)
